Valerie is a graduate student from Randolph, NJ. She is interested in improving the clinical identification, prediction, and management of neurocognitive and health outcomes in a variety of neuropsychological populations, particularly HIV disease and older adults. Her research interests include cognitive aging, stress, HIV/AIDS, and health disparities. Prior to Drexel, Valerie studied adolescent mothers’ sexual risk behaviors alongside Dr. Jones in order to promote healthy relationships and reduce their risk of HIV and other STIs.
